Hers Weight Loss Cost: What You'll Really Pay in 2026
By WPG Research Team · Last verified · Last updated
Hers weight loss costs at least $188 for the first month and $298 a month after that, using its lowest price. That's a $149 medicine plus a required $149 membership ($39 the first month). Hers medicines ran from $149 to $1,899 a month on November 4, 2026.
A year at the lowest price is about $3,466. Below is the cost of every Hers drug, month by month, plus what the same drugs cost at Ro and what a compounded plan costs at TrimRx.
Weight Loss Provider Guide is an independent comparison resource for GLP-1 telehealth providers.
Bottom line: Hers has two bills, the membership and the medicine. The lowest listed monthly totals after month one range from $298 to $2,048, depending on the medicine; higher-dose prices may differ.
Best for: Cash payers who want brand-name drugs and one app for care and messaging.
Not best for: Anyone who wants insurance to pay, or wants to know the price of higher doses before joining.
What matters most: Hers posts "from" prices only. It says "pricing may vary by dosage," so your real cost can be higher.
How much does Hers weight loss cost per month?
On November 4, 2026, Hers medicine cost from $149 to $1,899 a month. On top of that you pay the membership: $39 the first month, then $149 a month. Hers says its prices include "medication only, if prescribed."
| Hers medicine | FDA-approved for | Medicine price | Month 1 total | Month 2+ total |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Wegovy pill | Weight loss | From $149 | $188 | $298 |
| Wegovy pill microdosing plan | Weight loss (Hers says microdosing is off-label) | From $149 | $188 | $298 |
| Foundayo pill | Weight loss | From $149 | $188 | $298 |
| Ozempic pill | Type 2 diabetes | From $149 | $188 | $298 |
| Wegovy pen | Weight loss | From $199 | $238 | $348 |
| Ozempic (shot) | Type 2 diabetes | From $199 | $238 | $348 |
| Zepbound vial | Weight loss | From $299 | $338 | $448 |
| Zepbound KwikPen | Weight loss | From $299 | $338 | $448 |
| Mounjaro | Type 2 diabetes | $1,899 | $1,938 | $2,048 |
| Zepbound (listed separately) | Weight loss | $1,899 | $1,938 | $2,048 |
Medicine prices are from Hers's weight loss page. Totals are our math: medicine plus $39 in month one, or plus $149 after that. "From" means the lowest price shown. Hers doesn't list what higher doses cost.
Ozempic and Mounjaro are approved for type 2 diabetes. Using them for weight loss is off-label, and Hers says they're only for people who meet a provider's medical rules.
What does Hers cost for a full year?
At Hers's lowest prices, year one costs $3,466 for a pill, $4,066 for the Wegovy pen, and $5,266 for Zepbound. The membership alone is $1,678 of that.
| Year one at Hers (12 months) | Membership | Medicine | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pill (Wegovy, Foundayo or Ozempic) | $1,678 | $1,788 | $3,466 |
| Wegovy pen or Ozempic shot | $1,678 | $2,388 | $4,066 |
| Zepbound vial or KwikPen | $1,678 | $3,588 | $5,266 |
| Mounjaro or Zepbound at $1,899 | $1,678 | $22,788 | $24,466 |
All our math, at the "from" price for all 12 months. Treat each total as the least you'd pay. If your dose rises and the price rises with it, the total goes up.
The membership is like a phone plan. The medicine is the phone. You pay for both every month, and the plan doesn't drop away once you're on a steady dose.

Find a GLP-1 path for youWhat does the Hers membership include?
The $149 membership covers your care, not your medicine. Hers says it includes a personal plan, 24/7 messaging with licensed providers, a private member community and dose changes as you go. It also includes a smart scale if you opt in. Hers lists it as a "$55 value".
If prescribed, Hers also includes a generic anti-nausea pill (ondansetron, the generic of Zofran) at no extra cost.
The fine print matters. The membership "does not include or guarantee a prescription." The first month's $39 is non-refundable, even if a provider says no. Hers's terms also say the membership "is not an insurance plan." For more on the fee alone, see does Hers have a membership fee.
What Hers won't tell you up front
The biggest unknown is the price of higher doses. Hers shows one "from" price per drug and says "pricing may vary by dosage." Most GLP-1 plans step up the dose over a few months, so your price could change after you join.
Here's what else we found in Hers's pages and terms on November 4:
- Two bills, two cancels. Canceling the membership cancels the medicine plan. Canceling the medicine plan does not cancel the membership.
- Timing. To get a refund on a renewal of your medicine plan, cancel at least 2 days before your billing date. Nothing is refunded once medicine ships.
- Monthly or up front. Hers says medicine is billed "monthly or upfront, based on your plan."
- Outside pharmacy bills. If your prescription goes to an outside pharmacy such as Gifthealth, Hers's terms say you pay that pharmacy directly.
Does insurance, HSA or FSA lower the Hers cost?
Hers doesn't bill insurance for weight loss. It says "insurance isn't required." You can try to use HSA or FSA money, but Hers's FAQ suggests paying with a regular card and sending in your receipt.
Its product pages show an "FSA & HSA eligible" banner. That means the cost may qualify under your plan. It doesn't promise your HSA card will work at checkout.
If you have coverage, a provider that checks insurance can cost far less. Ro runs a free insurance check for the Wegovy, Ozempic and Zepbound pens. More in does Hers take insurance, does Hers accept HSA/FSA and GLP-1 providers that accept insurance.
Check your insurance with RoHers cost vs Ro vs TrimRx
Hers and Ro both list the Wegovy pill from $149, while other starting prices differ. Ro posts its higher-dose prices and has a cheaper long-term membership. TrimRx sells compounded drugs, which are not FDA-approved; its listed terms price is not always lower than Hers's lowest price.

Hers, Ro and TrimRx facts are from each company's own pages and terms. We left out prices that only show with a limited-time or maker offer.
Year one, Wegovy pill at Ro: stepping up from 1.5 mg to 4 mg, then 9 mg or higher, medicine is $149 + $199 + (10 × $299) = $3,338. On Ro's monthly plan that's $5,016 in all. On Ro's annual plan ($39, then $888 paid up front) it's $4,265. Our math.
Year one, compounded GLP-1 at TrimRx: $199 + (11 × $299) = $3,488, using its terms. Our math.
We can't run the same step-up math for Hers, because Hers doesn't post what higher doses cost. Ro's real total may beat Hers's or not. The difference is you can see Ro's before you pay.
See Ro's posted GLP-1 pricesIf you're fine with a compounded drug, TrimRx's price includes the care and the medicine. Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved, and the FDA doesn't review them for safety, quality or how well they work.

Is Hers worth the cost?
It can be, if you want brand-name drugs and a simple app, and you don't mind paying $149 a month for care. It's a weaker deal if your dose will go up and you can't see the price first.
Hers may fit if you:
- Want a brand-name pill or shot and plan to pay cash.
- Like 24/7 messaging and an all-in-one app.
- Plan to stay on a starting dose, such as the microdosing plan, which stops at 4 mg.
Look elsewhere if you:
- Have insurance that may cover a GLP-1.
- Want to see every dose price before you pay.
- Will stay on treatment a long time. Ro's yearly membership is $74 a month, about half of Hers's $149.
Hers's record isn't spotless. On September 9, 2025, the FDA sent a warning letter to Hims & Hers Health, Inc., doing business as Hers, about claims for its compounded semaglutide. Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved. Hers's weight loss page listed only brand-name drugs on November 4, 2026. More in our Hers GLP-1 reviews.
GLP-1 safety before you pay
Price isn't the only thing to check. The most common GLP-1 side effects are stomach issues like nausea, diarrhea and vomiting.
GLP-1 safety: do not use if you or a family member has had medullary thyroid cancer (MTC), or if you have MEN 2.
Talk to your doctor first if you're pregnant, trying to get pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you've had pancreatitis or gallbladder problems. Also check with your doctor if you take insulin or other diabetes drugs. More in are GLP-1 pills safe.
