What we do — and don't do — with your data

Weight Loss Provider Guide does not sell personal information for money. We do allow third-party analytics tools (Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity) to set cookies that, under the California Attorney General's broad reading of the CCPA, can qualify as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes.

You have the right to opt out of that sharing. The button below will record your preference, set the corresponding cookie consent, and signal our analytics scripts to stop loading.

Other ways to opt out

  • Global Privacy Control (GPC). Enable GPC in a supported browser (Brave, Firefox, DuckDuckGo, or via the Privacy Badger extension). We honor it automatically and treat it as a verified opt-out request, in line with the California Attorney General's guidance.
  • Email request. Send a message to [email protected] with the subject line "CCPA Opt-Out Request." We respond within 45 days.
  • Consent banner. If you previously accepted analytics, click the "Manage cookies" link in our footer to bring up the consent banner again and change your decision.

  • Right to delete personal information we have collected from you.
  • Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to limit use of sensitive personal information.
