Methodology
Data Collection Process
We visit each provider's public pricing page directly. No data is sourced from press releases, advertisements, or third-party aggregators. Each provider's pricing URL is recorded for transparency.
Verification Protocol
Every price change detected by our scanning system is held in a review queue. A human reviewer verifies the change against the provider's live website before it is published to the index. This prevents false positives from temporary page errors or A/B testing.
Change Detection
We generate a fingerprint of each provider's pricing page on every scan. When the fingerprint changes, we extract the new pricing data and flag it for review. Scans run weekly at minimum.
What Verified Means
A verified status means a human reviewer has confirmed the current prices match what is displayed on the provider's website as of the verification date. It does not imply endorsement or recommendation of any provider.
Limitations
Prices shown are the advertised starting prices and may not reflect what every patient pays. Insurance coverage, dosage changes, and promotional pricing can all affect actual costs. We cannot verify prices that require creating an account or completing a consultation.
