Amble Reviews (2026): Prices, Ratings and the Fine Print
By WPG Research Team · Last verified
Amble is a real, cash-pay telehealth company that sells compounded GLP-1 shots for $135 to $179 a month, at the same price for every dose. Longer plans are cheaper but are paid up front and can't be refunded once the pharmacy starts. Trustpilot reviews are strong, but the BBB gives Amble an F.
Weight Loss Provider Guide is an independent comparison resource for GLP-1 telehealth providers.
Bottom line
- Cost: $179 for one month, $160 a month on a 3-month plan, or $135 a month on a 6-month plan. Compounded tirzepatide costs more.
- What's included: Physician review, 24/7 messaging, supplies, and free shipping.
- The catch: Multi-month plans are charged in full. Once your order goes to the pharmacy, no part of it can be refunded.
- Reviews: 4.5 stars from about 4,600 Trustpilot reviews. BBB rating of F with a "Pattern of Complaints" alert.
- Best for: Cash payers who want one flat price at every dose.
What is Amble?
Amble is run by Amble Health Inc., based in Cortland, Ohio. Amble says it is a technology and admin company. It does not prescribe or fill prescriptions itself. Licensed physicians review your health form, and partner pharmacies fill the prescription through a network run by Bask Health, Inc.
For weight loss, Amble sells compounded GLP-1 shots taken once a week. Its safety pages cover both compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide. It also sells NAD+, peptides, and emergency medicine kits, which are not weight-loss medicines.
Compounded medicine is made by a compounding pharmacy for one patient's prescription. It is not the same as Wegovy, Ozempic, Zepbound, or Mounjaro. Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved. The FDA does not check them for safety, effectiveness, or quality before they are sold.
Here is how it works, per Amble:
- Fill out an online health form about your history, goals, and medicines.
- A licensed physician reviews it. Most states need no video call. In New Mexico, Kansas, West Virginia, Louisiana, and Mississippi, a short video or audio visit is required.
- If prescribed, your medicine ships cold to your door in plain packaging, with free shipping.
- You message your care team anytime through your portal and can ask about dose changes.
Amble does not name the pharmacy that makes its compounded medicine.
The right GLP-1 path isn't the same for everyone. It depends on your state, insurance, budget, whether you want FDA-approved or compounded medicine, and whether you want a shot or a pill. Our free tool can show you which fits before you choose.

Amble charges the same monthly price at every dose. The longer the plan, the lower the monthly price. Longer plans are charged in full when you buy.
Compounded GLP-1 shots
| Plan | Price per month | Paid up front |
|---|---|---|
| 1 month | $179 | $179 |
| 3 months | $160 | $480 |
| 6 months | $135 | $810 |
On the same page, a second plan table also lists a 12-month plan at $135 a month and a 6-month plan at $145 a month. Check which plans show at checkout.
Compounded GLP-1 + GIP (tirzepatide)
Amble's tirzepatide plans are on a separate sign-up page.
| Plan | Price per month | Paid up front |

| 3 months | $255 | $765 |
| 6 months | $235 | $1,410 |
Deals and discounts
- First month: Some Amble sign-up pages take $50 off the first month, bringing the 1-month GLP-1 plan to $129.
- Referrals: You and a friend each get $50 toward a future order.
- Amble Cares: Amble offers up to 50% off for people who qualify based on financial need. A third-party partner checks eligibility. Amble can change or end the program at any time.
Note on "same price, every dose": Amble's own fine print says prices can change with supply or market conditions. First-month deals are not covered by the same-price promise. Amble's homepage also says "plans starting at $99 per month," but the lowest GLP-1 plan price we found on its GLP-1 pages was $135 a month.
Want FDA-approved brand-name medicine? Amble's weight-loss pages sell compounded medicine. Ro is our top pick for brand-name GLP-1s. Its membership is $39 for the first month, then $149 a month, or as low as $74 a month on a prepaid yearly plan. The medicine is billed on top of that. On October 29, 2026, Ro listed Zepbound from $299 a month at the 2.5 mg dose and the Wegovy pen from $199 a month at the starting doses. See our guides to Zepbound cost without insurance and Wegovy cost without insurance.

If you are open to compounded medicine, Embody is our top pick. On October 29, 2026, its storefront listed compounded semaglutide at $79 for one month and compounded tirzepatide at $129 for one month, with no membership fee. Embody was running a site-wide sale, so confirm the price at checkout. See Embody GLP-1 cost.

We checked the public review sites on October 29, 2026. We do not add or invent reviews.
| Source | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Trustpilot | 4.5 out of 5 from about 4,602 reviews. 81% are 5 stars and 11% are 1 star |
| Better Business Bureau | Rating of F. Not accredited. "Pattern of Complaints" alert. About 376 complaints in 3 years, with 204 not answered |
| BBB customer reviews | About 1.5 out of 5 |
| FDA | We found no FDA warning letter to Amble |
Amble also sells NAD+, sermorelin, and other treatments, so not every review is about weight loss.
The common themes in recent reviews:
- Praise: Helpful staff, quick replies, and an easy sign-up.
- Concerns: Slow support replies, shipping problems such as melted ice packs, wrong or short orders, and trouble canceling or getting refunds.
Why the BBB F matters. The BBB says the F is mostly because Amble did not respond to more than 200 complaints. It is not a safety rating. But it does tell you how complaints may be handled if something goes wrong.
About Amble's results claims. Amble's site shows member weight-loss numbers from its own survey. Amble says the numbers are self-reported and not independently checked, and that its before-and-after photos come from paid Amble affiliates.
What's the catch? The fine print
We read Amble's terms of service (updated October 12, 2026) on October 29, 2026. These are the rules most likely to cost you money.
| Topic | What the terms say |
|---|---|
| Billing | Multi-month plans are charged in full when you buy |
| Before the pharmacy | You can cancel for a full refund with no fee before your order is sent to the pharmacy |
| After the pharmacy | Once your order is sent to the pharmacy, no part of it, including later months, can be canceled or refunded |
| Not approved | If a provider decides the medicine isn't right for you, Amble refunds your first payment |
| Renewals | Plans renew. Cancel by email (hello@joinamble.com) or in your dashboard at least 15 days before your next billing date |
| Card disputes | Amble says disputes on orders already sent to the pharmacy may be sent to collections |
| Disputes | Binding individual arbitration and no class actions. You can opt out within 30 days of accepting the terms |
Our tip: Put a reminder on your calendar 16 days before each renewal date. A cancel request that arrives later may not stop the next charge.
Does Amble take insurance?
No. Amble does not bill insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid. You pay the listed price.
You can use an HSA or FSA card on 3-month or longer plans. Amble also gives itemized receipts if you need to file with your plan yourself. Ask your plan what it covers before you pay.
Want help using your insurance? Ro's insurance team checks your coverage and submits prior authorization paperwork for FDA-approved brand-name medicine. (A prior authorization is your insurer's approval before it will pay.) More options: GLP-1 providers that accept insurance.

We rank providers on six criteria. Commission never changes a ranking. This is our judgment from public facts, not a score.
| Criterion (weight) | How Amble does | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Pricing transparency (25%) | Good | Plan prices are posted and flat at every dose. The "$99 a month" homepage claim did not match the GLP-1 plan prices we found |
| Clinical oversight (20%) | Fair | Physician review and 24/7 messaging. Video visits only in five states |
| Medication access and pharmacy (20%) | Fair | Compounded options only on weight-loss pages. Pharmacy is not named |
| Insurance support (15%) | Weak | No insurance billing |
| Cancellation and refunds (10%) | Weak | Plans renew, need 15 days' notice to cancel, and are final once sent to the pharmacy |
| Experience and support (10%) | Mixed | Strong Trustpilot score. BBB F with hundreds of unanswered complaints |
See how we score in How We Rank.
Is Amble legit?
Yes, in the sense that it is a real company with posted prices, physician review, and written terms. We found no FDA warning letter to Amble. The weak spots are an unnamed pharmacy, an F from the BBB with hundreds of unanswered complaints, and strict no-refund rules once your order goes to the pharmacy.
Amble fits you if you:
- Want one flat monthly price, no matter your dose.
- Are fine paying for 3 or 6 months up front to get the lower price.
- Want to pay with an HSA or FSA card.
Look elsewhere if you:
- Want brand-name Wegovy or Zepbound.
- Want insurance to help pay.
- Want to know which pharmacy makes your medicine.
- Want the lowest one-month price.
Who should talk to a doctor first?
See your own doctor before using any online GLP-1 program if you:
- Are pregnant, trying to get pregnant, or breastfeeding.
- Have had medullary thyroid cancer, MEN 2, or pancreatitis.
- Take insulin or other diabetes medicines.
- Have kidney disease or a history of an eating disorder.
A licensed clinician decides if any GLP-1 is right for you. No program guarantees a prescription.
