Lavender Sky Health Reviews (2026): Prices, Ratings and the Catch
Lavender Sky Health is a real, cash-pay telehealth practice with low posted prices and a 4.5-star Trustpilot score. But it has an F rating at the Better Business Bureau, takes no insurance, and treats every medicine order as final sale. It fits people who pay cash, are open to compounded GLP-1s, and want to pick their own pharmacy.
Weight Loss Provider Guide compares GLP-1 telehealth providers by cost, access, and fit, and links you to the program that matches your situation.
Bottom line
- Cost: A $65 first visit, then compounded plans from $139 for one month. The cheapest first payment we found was $204.
- No subscription: You pay per visit and per order. Nothing renews by itself.
- The catch: Orders can't be refunded once sent to the pharmacy. Report any shipping or heat problem within 24 hours.
- Reviews: 4.5 stars from 152 Trustpilot reviews, but an F at the BBB with 5 complaints.
- No insurance: Need a plan to pay? Ro is our top pick for insurance help.
What is Lavender Sky Health?
Lavender Sky Health is a telehealth weight loss practice based in Charleston, South Carolina. It started in March 2024. Its site says it is physician and female owned and serves all 50 states plus DC. Which pharmacies can ship to you depends on your state.
Here is how it works:
- Book a visit. You can do an online form (an "e-consult"), a phone call, or a video call. Lavender Sky says e-consults are reviewed within 3 business days after you pay.
- A licensed provider reviews your history. Lavender Sky says no blood work is needed. It has no hard BMI cutoff, but it won't prescribe if you are underweight.
- You pick a pharmacy and a plan. The site lists 13 partner pharmacies. Each one has its own prices, doses, and plan sizes.
- The pharmacy ships to you. Lavender Sky says shipping takes 2 to 10 business days.
Lavender Sky offers both compounded medicine and brand-name medicine. Compounded medicine is made by a compounding pharmacy. Lavender Sky's own pricing page says compounded medicines "are not FDA approved or regulated."

You pay two things: a visit fee and a plan price. There is no membership.
| Fee | Price | When you pay it |
|---|---|---|
| New patient visit | $65 | Once, at the start |
| Follow-up visit | $40 | About every 6 months while on treatment (sooner when you are starting) |
| Refills between follow-ups | $0 visit fee | You pay only for the plan |
| Compounded plans | From $139 a month, or $195 to $370 for 8 to 10 weeks | Each order, paid up front |
| Brand-name plan fee | $25 a month | Plus the medicine, bought separately |
Compounded plans include the medicine, shipping, and supplies. There are two kinds:
- Monthly plans: One month of medicine. You pay each month.
- Tier plans: 8 to 10 weeks of medicine, paid once, up front. The "per month" prices on Lavender Sky's site are for comparison only. You still pay the full amount at once.
New patients, and people coming back after a break, start at Tier 1. To order a higher tier, you must show proof of your current prescription.
Your first payment
Here is the lowest first payment we found for each medicine on October 28, 2026. It adds the $65 visit to the plan.
| Medicine | Plan | Pharmacy | Plan price | First payment |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Compounded tirzepatide | Monthly Starter (1 month) | Nova (via AbsoluteRx) | $139 | $204 |
| Compounded tirzepatide | Tier 1 (34 mg, 8 to 10 weeks) | Nova (via AbsoluteRx) | $199 | $264 |
| Compounded semaglutide | Monthly Starter (1 month) | Southend | $139 | $204 |
| Compounded semaglutide | Tier 1 (5 mg, 8 to 10 weeks) | ReviveRx | $195 | $260 |
Your provider picks your dose. Prices are set by each pharmacy and can change at any time. Lavender Sky's terms say it won't refund an order you paid for before a price change.
Which pharmacy is cheapest at Lavender Sky?
It depends on what you compare. The lowest price is not always the most medicine for your money. The same Tier 1 plan holds different amounts at different pharmacies.
Tier 1 compounded tirzepatide (checked October 28, 2026):
| Pharmacy | Price | Total medicine | Cost per mg | Use-by window |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Southend | $229 | 44 mg | $5.20 | Up to 90 days |
| Vios | $340 | 60 mg | $5.67 | Up to 90 days |
| Nova (via AbsoluteRx) | $199 | 34 mg | $5.85 | Up to 180 days |
| ReviveRx | $240 | 40 mg | $6.00 | Up to 90 days |
| Hallandale | $249 | 40 mg | $6.22 | Up to 90 days |
| OptioRX | $345 | 50 mg | $6.90 | Up to 90 days |
| Empower | $300 | 40 mg | $7.50 | Up to 70 days |
| Strive | $319 | 40 mg | $7.97 | Up to 90 days |
| Alchemist | $370 | 40 mg | $9.25 | Up to 90 days |
| South Lake | $370 | 40 mg | $9.25 | Up to 90 days |
| Red Rock | $329 | 34 mg | $9.68 | Up to 90 days |
Tier 1 compounded semaglutide (checked October 28, 2026):
| Pharmacy | Price | Total medicine | Cost per mg | Use-by window |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Southend | $199 | 10 mg | $19.90 | Up to 90 days |
| Hallandale | $219 | 10 mg | $21.90 | Up to 90 days |
| OptioRX | $239 | 10 mg | $23.90 | Up to 90 days |
| ReviveRx | $195 | 5 mg | $39.00 | Up to 90 days |
| Nova (via AbsoluteRx) | $225 | 5 mg | $45.00 | Up to 180 days |
| Empower | $235 | 5 mg | $47.00 | Up to 70 days |
| Red Rock | $249 | 5 mg | $49.80 | Up to 90 days |
| Strive | $269 | 5 mg | $53.80 | Up to 90 days |
Two things to know before you choose:
- More medicine only helps if you can use it in time. Each vial has a use-by window (the "beyond-use date"). Medicine you don't use before then is wasted. A low cost per mg means little if your dose won't use it all.
- The formulas are not the same. Many pharmacies add things like vitamin B6, B12, glycine, or niacinamide. Ask your provider which one fits you.
Lavender Sky Health reviews: what do patients say?
We read the public review sites on October 28, 2026. We do not add or invent reviews. Here is what we found.
| Source | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Trustpilot | 4.5 out of 5 from 152 reviews. 84% are 5 stars and 13% are 1 star. The company replied to 14% of negative reviews |
| Better Business Bureau | Rating of F. Not accredited. 5 complaints in total, and the company did not respond to 2 of them |
| FDA warning letters | We found no FDA warning letter to Lavender Sky Health |
The common themes in the reviews we read:
- Praise: Being able to choose the pharmacy, clear prices, and helpful providers.
- Complaints: Medicine that arrived warm, slow replies from support, and being sent to the pharmacy to fix a shipping problem.
The two scores tell different stories. Trustpilot reflects many happy buyers. The BBB rating mostly reflects how complaints were handled. A BBB grade is not a safety rating.
What's the catch? The fine print
We read Lavender Sky's terms on October 28, 2026. These are the rules most likely to cost you money.
| Topic | What the sales pages say | What the terms say |
|---|---|---|
| Subscriptions | No memberships, no recurring fees | True. Nothing renews on its own |
| Medicine orders | Pick your pharmacy and plan | Orders are final once sent to the pharmacy. They usually can't be canceled, changed, or refunded |
| Visit fees | $65 new, $40 follow-up | No refund for a finished visit. E-consults can't be refunded once submitted |
| Canceling a call | — | Cancel a phone or video visit before it happens for a refund, minus a 5% card fee |
| Prepayments | — | Unused prepayments can be refunded within 180 days, minus a 5% card fee |
| Shipping problems | Shipping and supplies included | Report delivery or temperature problems to the pharmacy and Lavender Sky within 24 hours of delivery |
| Price changes | Prices posted up front | Pharmacies set prices and can change them. No refund if you paid before a change |
Our tip: Open your box the day it arrives. If anything looks wrong, contact the pharmacy and Lavender Sky that same day.
Does Lavender Sky Health take insurance?
No. Lavender Sky does not bill insurance and does not handle prior authorizations. (A prior authorization is your insurer's approval before it will pay.)
You can use an HSA or FSA card. Lavender Sky says it can provide a letter of medical necessity. Ask your plan what it covers before you pay.
Lavender Sky takes Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and HSA/FSA cards. It does not take PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Affirm.
Want help using your insurance? Ro is our top pick for insurance support. Ro's insurance team checks your coverage and submits prior authorization paperwork for FDA-approved brand-name medicine. Ro says this takes about 1 to 3 weeks. Ro's membership is $39 for the first month, then $149 a month, or as low as $74 a month on a prepaid yearly plan. The membership fee does not include the medicine. More options: GLP-1 providers that accept insurance.
Check your coverage with RoBrand-name options at Lavender Sky
Lavender Sky can also prescribe FDA-approved brand-name medicine. You pay a $25 monthly plan fee, plus the medicine. You buy the medicine from the maker's own self-pay pharmacy.
| Medicine | Medicine price | With Lavender Sky's $25 fee |
|---|---|---|
| Wegovy pill, 1.5 mg | $149 a month | $174 a month |
| Wegovy pill, 4 mg | $199 a month | $224 a month |
| Wegovy pill, 9 mg or 25 mg | $299 a month | $324 a month |
| Zepbound vials (LillyDirect) | $299 to $449 a month, by dose | $324 to $474 a month |
| Wegovy pen (NovoCare) | $349 a month ($199 for the first 2 starter fills for new patients, through Dec. 31, 2026) | $374 a month |
One note: Lavender Sky's page still listed Wegovy pens at $499 when we checked. NovoCare's own page showed $349. Check the maker's price before you pay.
For cash buyers, Lavender Sky's $25 fee is lower than most membership fees. Ro, for example, charges $149 a month after the first month. What Ro adds is insurance help. If your plan might cover your medicine, that help can be worth far more than the fee gap.
Lavender Sky vs. Ro vs. Embody
| Lavender Sky Health | Ro | Embody | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Best for | Cash buyers who want to pick the pharmacy | Insurance help, FDA-approved brand-name medicine | Simple monthly price on compounded medicine |
| Medicine types | Compounded and brand-name | Brand-name only | Compounded |
| Fees | $65 first visit, $40 follow-ups, $25/month for brand-name | $39 first month, then $149/month (or $74/month yearly) | No membership fee |
| Lowest compounded price | $139 for one month + $65 visit | — | Semaglutide $79 for one month, $49/month on a 12-month plan |
| Insurance | No | Yes, coverage checks and prior authorizations | No |
If you are open to compounded medicine, Embody is our top pick. Embody has no membership fee. On October 28, 2026, its storefront listed compounded semaglutide at $79 for one month, or $49 a month on a 12-month plan ($588). Compounded tirzepatide was $129 for one month, or $99 a month on a 12-month plan ($1,188). Offers can vary, so confirm the price at checkout. Lavender Sky can cost less on some tier plans, but Embody is simpler to compare month to month. See Embody GLP-1 cost and is compounded semaglutide safe?

We rank providers on six criteria. Commission never changes a ranking. This is our judgment from public facts, not a score.
| Criterion (weight) | How Lavender Sky does | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Pricing transparency (25%) | Strong | Every plan and fee is posted by pharmacy. One brand-name price was out of date |
| Clinical oversight (20%) | Fair | Licensed providers review each patient. No labs needed and no hard BMI cutoff |
| Medication access and pharmacy (20%) | Strong | 13 named pharmacies, plus brand-name options. Compounded medicine is not FDA-approved |
| Insurance support (15%) | Weak | No insurance billing and no prior authorization help |
| Cancellation and refunds (10%) | Mixed | No subscription to cancel, but medicine orders are final sale |
| Experience and support (10%) | Mixed | Good Trustpilot score, but BBB complaints went unanswered |

Is Lavender Sky Health legit?
Yes, it is a real, licensed telehealth practice. It posts its prices, names its pharmacies, and has a clear set of terms. We found no FDA warning letter.
But "legit" is not the same as "right for you." The F rating at the BBB and the final-sale rule are real downsides. If you need insurance, a refund-friendly plan, or someone to handle shipping problems for you, look elsewhere.
Lavender Sky fits you if you:
- Pay cash and want no subscription.
- Are open to compounded medicine and want to choose the pharmacy.
- Want brand-name medicine at the maker's price with a low $25 fee.
Look elsewhere if you:
- Want insurance to pay for your medicine.
- Want a plan where you can get a refund after you order.
- Want one fixed monthly price with no visit fees.
Who should talk to a doctor first?
See your own doctor before using any online GLP-1 program if you:
- Are pregnant, trying to get pregnant, or breastfeeding.
- Have had medullary thyroid cancer, MEN 2, or pancreatitis.
- Take insulin or other diabetes medicines.
- Have kidney disease or a history of an eating disorder.
A licensed clinician decides if any GLP-1 is right for you. No program guarantees a prescription.
