Here's the short version. The best GLP-1 providers that send prescriptions to Sam's Club are WeightWatchers Med+ for the clearest Sam's Club–specific pickup route, Curai Health for the retailer-linked path Sam's Club puts in its own Telehealth menu, Ro when insurance or prior authorization is the hard part, and Sesame when you want to pick your own clinician or use its Medicare Bridge lane. A clinician you already see may cost less because you may not need a new telehealth membership, but your normal visit charge or copay can still apply.

Sam's Club currently promotes Wegovy, Foundayo, and the Zepbound KwikPen on its GLP-1 page. It can also fill other valid prescriptions when the product is stocked and the claim can be processed. It has no published pickup route for Zepbound single-dose vials, which Lilly sells through LillyDirect with Walmart Pharmacy pickup. And you do not need a Sam's Club membership to use the pharmacy.

Now the part almost nobody tells you: at that same counter, a high-dose Zepbound KwikPen can cost $50 through the Medicare GLP-1 Bridge or $699 at Lilly's regular self-pay price. The difference is not the clinician you picked. It is the form, the payment lane, and a refill-window footnote — and we found a $250-a-month gap between Sam's Club's published KwikPen ladder and Lilly's current qualifying high-dose offer.

Which are the best GLP-1 providers that send prescriptions to Sam's Club?

Seven routes can end at a Sam's Club pharmacy counter. WeightWatchers Med+ is the clearest provider-specific route because its own Sam's Club offer names Sam's Club Pharmacy pickup. Curai is the retailer-linked route, but its public page does not prove the last routing step. Ro is built for the insurance fight. Sesame lets you choose the clinician. Your existing prescriber may be the lowest-cost route because you may avoid a new program fee. No telehealth service can promise a prescription, and none can promise that your club has the drug in stock.

Most online weight-loss programs have a default fulfillment path. Some ship cash-pay medication through an integrated pharmacy. Others let the prescription go to a local pharmacy. That difference is not small when your goal is a specific Sam's Club counter.

So the ability to choose Sam's Club is not something to assume. It is something to confirm before you pay.

The Sam's Club Prescription Route Map

Notice what is missing from that table: a Sam's Club–published path for compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide. That is not us picking sides. Sam's delivery terms exclude compound prescriptions, its Plus pricing excludes compounded prescriptions, and we found no public Sam's Club page offering compounded GLP-1 dispensing.

Curai Health: the route Sam's Club points to itself

Sam's Club lists Curai Health in its own site navigation under Telehealth, beside a “GLP-1 Weight Management” link that goes to a Sam's Club–branded Curai page. That makes Curai the retailer-linked starting point on this list. But the public Sam's Club page does not show the last step that matters: whether you can select your exact club before you are charged. Walmart's separate Better Care program publishes Curai weight-loss care at $29 per month beginning August 1, 2026; we did not treat that Walmart price as a Sam's Club price.

This is the piece most comparison pages miss, and we almost missed it too.

Go to samsclub.com, open the Services menu, then Pharmacy & Health Services. Under Telehealth, Sam's Club lists:

The GLP-1 link goes to app.curaihealth.com/sams-club/glp-1-program — a Curai page built for Sam's Club. Sam's Club is not merely accepting prescriptions from an outside telehealth provider. It is placing Curai in the retailer's own service path.

Why this matters: pages that say Sam's Club has no telehealth path at all are out of date as of August 2026.

What we can confirm, and what we can't

Confirmed: Curai appears in Sam's Club's navigation under Telehealth, with a dedicated Sam's Club GLP-1 page. Curai uses licensed clinicians. Walmart's April 16, 2026 Better Care announcement set the separate Walmart Curai weight-loss program at $29 per month starting August 1, 2026, after a free promotional window from April 15 through July 31 that excluded people enrolled in Medicare or Medicaid.

Not confirmed: the monthly price inside the Sam's Club version · whether it has a separate promotion · whether a prescription is sent to the exact Sam's Club you choose · whether club selection happens before payment.

We're telling you that plainly instead of turning a branded landing page into a promise it does not make. Guessing here could cost you a month of care fees.

Ask this one question before you pay Curai anything

“If a clinician prescribes a GLP-1, can the prescription be sent electronically to the exact Sam's Club Pharmacy I choose — and can I select that club and see the full care price before I am charged?”

If the answer is yes, Curai may be your shortest retailer-linked path. If the answer is no, or nobody will answer clearly, go back to the route map. There are six other ways in.

Who Curai fits: people who want the path Sam's Club itself displays and are willing to confirm one missing operational detail.

Who should skip it: anyone who wants a public Sam's Club pickup promise before paying. WeightWatchers publishes that promise. Anyone facing a difficult prior authorization should also compare Ro first.

What GLP-1 medications can Sam's Club actually fill?

Sam's Club's current GLP-1 page expressly promotes Wegovy, Foundayo, and the Zepbound KwikPen. Its pharmacy has also promoted Ozempic, and a Sam's Club pharmacy can process other valid prescriptions when the product is stocked and the payment route works. The one hard retail-pickup dead end is the Zepbound single-dose vial: Lilly says that form is available only through LillyDirect, with home delivery or Walmart Pharmacy pickup. There is also no Sam's Club–published route for a compounded GLP-1.

This is the table we wish somebody had handed us. It separates the drug, the physical form, the published price lane, and the thing you still have to confirm locally.

The Sam's Club Counter Ledger

Price-label rule: “As low as” is not the same as “everyone pays.” Commercial cards, self-pay offers, the Medicare Bridge, and regular prices have different eligibility rules. Your club's stock and the claim returned at the register still control the real transaction.

A word on scale, since it matters for whether your club can help you at all: Sam's Club currently lists 566 pharmacy locations. Its October 2025 pharmacy announcement said more than 3,500 pharmacists and technicians worked across nearly 570 locations, and that Sam's Club had ranked first in J.D. Power customer satisfaction among mass-merchandiser pharmacies for ten straight years. Curbside and Express in-club pickup were listed as available at all Sam's Club pharmacies.

But not every Sam's Club has a pharmacy. Check the club finder before you build a plan around one.

Do you need a Sam's Club membership to fill a GLP-1 prescription?

No. Sam's Club says you do not have to be a member to buy prescription medication, and there is no non-member fee on a prescription. You also do not need a samsclub.com account to schedule prescription delivery or Express in-club pickup. Membership changes the delivery math: qualifying delivery is free for Plus members when requested before the cutoff and $12 for Club members and non-members.

Almost everyone gets this backwards, and it costs them money in the wrong direction.

Here's the arithmetic nobody has published.

The membership math

A drug filled every 28 days comes out to about 13 fills in a year.

Three things fall out of that table.

One. A full $120 Plus membership reaches breakeven against paying $12 per delivery at exactly ten deliveries. At 13 deliveries, Plus is $36 cheaper than staying a non-member and paying every delivery fee, before counting any other Plus benefit.

Two. If you already planned to buy the $60 Club membership, the upgrade from Club to Plus costs another $60. Free prescription delivery covers that upgrade after five deliveries.

Three, and this is the one that surprises people. If you are picking the prescription up, being a non-member can be the cheapest pharmacy-only path. No membership charge. No prescription fee. Do not buy a membership merely to reach the pharmacy.

Buy a membership if you want the delivery math, shop there anyway, or value the other benefits. Do not buy one because someone told you the pharmacy is members-only.

The current membership prices

A standard Club membership is $60 a year. Plus is $120 a year. The current annual Sam's Cash cap for Plus members is $750. Those are the current numbers that matter to the delivery calculation.

Most pages do not show the pharmacy-only math. Now you have it.

The free pharmacist consult nobody mentions

Sam's Club says its GLP-1 pharmacist consultation is educational and is not tied to your medication or pharmacy choice. Its January 2026 announcement also described GLP-1 education and support for people who do not fill at Sam's Club.

Read that again. You can ask a Sam's Club pharmacist about the device, storage, injection or tablet instructions, common side effects, interactions, and when a symptom needs a call to your prescriber — then fill somewhere else if that is the better route.

The prescriber decides whether the medicine and dose are right for you. The pharmacist is still one of the best people to ask how to use it safely and how the pharmacy claim will work.

The words on your prescription decide the price

At a Sam's Club counter, a Zepbound KwikPen can cost $50 through the Medicare Bridge, $449 through Lilly's qualifying high-dose self-pay offer, or $699 at the regular high-dose price. A vague prescription can send the claim down the wrong lane or force a new prescription. Do not count on the pharmacy to convert one physical form into another; the prescriber may have to rewrite it. Getting the form right before anything is sent saves more money and more time than almost anything else on this page.

This is the section we'd tape to the fridge.

Zepbound comes in three different physical products. They are not interchangeable at the counter, and Sam's Club does not have the same path for all three.

And one rule that catches Medicare patients cold:

The Medicare GLP-1 Bridge takes the Zepbound KwikPen only. CMS says the Zepbound single-dose vial and single-dose pen are not available through the Bridge. Pen needles are not included. If the prescription names the wrong Zepbound form, the $50 Bridge claim cannot use it.

Wegovy has the same trap in a milder form. The standard injection pen, Wegovy HD 7.2 mg, and the daily tablets run through different dose and price lanes. The tablets themselves range from 1.5 mg to 25 mg, with prices that change by dose. “Wegovy” alone does not tell the pharmacy enough.

Foundayo is simpler because it is a tablet, but the dose still matters. The six approved strengths do not all carry the same published cash price.

Send your prescriber this exact sentence

Copy it, fill in the blanks, and send it before the prescription goes anywhere.

“Please send my prescription electronically to Sam's Club Pharmacy #____ at [full street address]. Please write the exact product and form as [drug + form + dose — for example, Zepbound single-patient-use KwikPen 10 mg]. I plan to pay through [commercial insurance / the named manufacturer self-pay offer / Medicare GLP-1 Bridge]. Please tell me before sending a different form.”

Four blanks. Two minutes. It prevents the most expensive kind of “almost right.”

What will you actually pay at the Sam's Club counter?

With current manufacturer offers, Wegovy runs from $149 to $399 a month by form and dose, Foundayo runs from $149 to $349 before any qualifying high-dose discount, and a Zepbound KwikPen starts at $299. With eligible commercial insurance and a savings card, a covered product can be as little as $25. Through the Medicare GLP-1 Bridge, an eligible covered fill is $50. Without a valid offer, the number can jump fast — Wegovy's published list price is $1,349.02, and Lilly's regular price for a 10, 12.5, or 15 mg Zepbound KwikPen is $699.

Here's the current price ledger, pulled from the companies that set the terms.

A manufacturer offer is not a promise from Sam's Club. The manufacturer sets eligibility. The pharmacy submits the claim. The result on the screen is what matters.

🔍 The $250 footnote hiding in Sam's Club's own price list

Now the thing we found that changes the counter conversation.

Sam's Club's live GLP-1 help page lists one Zepbound KwikPen price ladder. Lilly's live KwikPen Self-Pay Savings Card terms list a lower qualifying price at the higher doses. The two pages agree at 2.5 and 5 mg. They split at 7.5 mg, then the gap reaches $250 a month at 10, 12.5, and 15 mg.

What is going on. Sam's Club is publishing Lilly's regular KwikPen ladder. Lilly's card terms say an eligible self-paying patient can pay as low as $449 for 7.5, 10, 12.5, or 15 mg. The first qualifying high-dose purchase gets that purchase offer. To keep it, the next KwikPen has to be purchased within 45 days of the prior one being received. The card may be used for up to 11 fills per calendar year and is scheduled to end December 31, 2026.

What that can be worth — as cap math, not a forward forecast. A 28-day supply is about 13 fills over 364 days. If the same $449 qualifying-offer price and $699 regular price applied across a full 13-fill calendar-year cycle, and the card worked for its maximum 11 fills, the 10 mg math would be:

• Sam's published regular ladder: 13 × $699 = $9,087
• Eleven $449 fills plus two $699 fills: 11 × $449 + 2 × $699 = $6,337
• Difference: $2,750 across that full calendar-year scenario

That is cap math, not a promise about the next 12 months. Lilly's current card is scheduled to end December 31, 2026, so a reader starting on August 8 cannot project the current terms across 13 future fills. The usable finding today is the $250 difference on each qualifying 10, 12.5, or 15 mg fill. Recheck the terms after December 31 before building a 2027 budget around them.

What to do about it. If the counter quotes $699 for a 10, 12.5, or 15 mg KwikPen, ask the pharmacist to run the Zepbound KwikPen Self-Pay Savings Card and check the $449 high-dose purchase offer. Bring the card information. Say the full product name. Do not merely ask whether “there is a coupon.”

And here's the fair part, because we're not going to make a pharmacist the villain: a pharmacy can only charge what the claim returns. Lilly says savings may fail to apply at the point of sale even when a patient appears eligible, and its terms provide a post-transaction reimbursement path in some cases. Keep the receipt and the rejection details.

The other gap: Sam's Club's old announcement is $150 too high

Sam's Club's October 2025 announcement still says members could get Wegovy and Ozempic for $499 a month through the manufacturer program available at that time. That release is a dated snapshot, not the current price sheet.

Novo's current standard self-pay price is $349 for Wegovy injection pens from 0.25 through 2.4 mg after any qualifying introductory fills. Its current Ozempic self-pay price is also $349 through 1 mg.

A reader who lands on the older release can walk in braced for $499 and never ask about the current $349 lane. On 12 fills, that is a $1,800 difference.

One clause to read before you use a self-pay offer

Novo says its self-pay offer is processed outside insurance. The amount does not count toward your deductible or your plan's out-of-pocket maximum.

That does not make the offer bad. For many people, $349 instead of the list price is the obvious path. But if you are close to a deductible or out-of-pocket limit, compare the full-year result instead of only this month's receipt.

💡 Before you pay for a program, check your insurance route

The biggest lever on your price is often not the provider. It is whether the drug and form are covered, whether Sam's Club is in network, and whether the paperwork is approved.

Ro has a free coverage checker for Wegovy injection pens, Zepbound autoinjector pens, and Ozempic. It asks for identifying and insurance-card information so Ro can return a coverage report. It does not currently check the Wegovy pill, Zepbound KwikPen, or Foundayo.

Insurance, coupons, Plus pricing, and GoodRx: which one actually wins?

These are different payment lanes. Some manufacturer copay cards work as a secondary claim with eligible commercial insurance. Manufacturer self-pay offers run outside insurance. GoodRx and Sam's Club discount pricing are separate cash lanes. The Sam's Plus prescription program says it cannot be combined with insurance or coupon and discount cards. Ask the pharmacist to price each valid lane separately instead of assuming two discounts will stack.

Here are the doors into a Sam's Club counter. Find yourself in one.

Door 5 is still the one almost nobody talks about. Lilly launched Employer Connect in March 2026 for employers that choose one of its participating administrators. Lilly says the KwikPen is available to the program's network pharmacies at $449 for every dose. That is not a promise that your employer offers it, that Sam's Club is in the dedicated network, or that your personal cost is $449. The useful question is simple:

“Is our health plan or weight-management benefit using Lilly Employer Connect, and what would my out-of-pocket cost be for Zepbound KwikPen?”

Ask benefits or HR, not the Sam's Club pharmacist.

Three rules that trip people up

A copay card can sit behind eligible commercial insurance. For example, Lilly's covered single-dose-pen card can lower an eligible commercial-insurance claim to as little as $25. That is not the same as stacking a GoodRx coupon on insurance.

A self-pay card stays outside insurance. Lilly's KwikPen self-pay card requires you to treat that purchase as cash. Novo's self-pay offer also says the purchase will not count toward your insurance deductible or out-of-pocket maximum.

Sam's Plus pharmacy pricing is its own discount program. Sam's says it is not insurance, cannot combine with insurance, and cannot combine with coupon or discount cards. It has ten listed $0 generics for most states and more than 600 medications at $10 or less, but it is not a blanket GLP-1 discount. Do not buy Plus expecting it to beat a manufacturer offer.

⚠️ The out-of-network problem

This is the most common reason a clean Sam's Club plan can collapse.

Sam's Club is not in every insurance plan's pharmacy network. Some plans use a preferred or restricted pharmacy list. A valid prescription can reach the club and still fail to produce the covered price.

Here's the uncomfortable bit: cheap cash and covered can be mutually exclusive at the same counter. If your plan would cover Wegovy for $25 at another in-network pharmacy but Sam's Club is out of network, Sam's $349 self-pay lane is $324 more for that fill.

Do this before anything else: call the number on your insurance card and ask:

“Is Sam's Club Pharmacy #[club number] at [address] in my plan's network for this exact drug and form?”

Do not stop at “Does my plan cover Wegovy?” Coverage of the drug and network status of the pharmacy are two different questions.

Ro: best when insurance or prior authorization is the hard part

Ro is the strongest route here when your commercial insurance may cover a GLP-1 but wants paperwork first. Its insurance concierge checks benefits, submits prior-authorization paperwork, and sends an approved prescription to the pharmacy you choose. Ro Body is $39 for the first month, then $149 month to month, $99 a month on a three-month prepaid plan, $89 a month on a six-month prepaid plan, or $74 a month on an annual prepaid plan. Medication is a separate charge.

Let's define the thing that can move your price by hundreds of dollars.

Prior authorization is an insurer's coverage review. The prescriber may need to document the diagnosis, BMI, prior treatments, clinical criteria, and why the exact drug is requested. A correct form does not guarantee approval. A weak or incomplete submission can cause a denial or delay even when the patient may meet the plan's rules.

That is what Ro is built around. Ro says its concierge checks coverage and submits the paperwork. Ro lists a typical prior-authorization review of about one to two weeks, while its full insurance-to-treatment flow can take about two to three weeks. The insurer controls the decision and may ask for more information.

Ro also says that during the insurance visit you can choose a local pharmacy. At this time, Ro's published insurance lane supports the Wegovy injection pen, Zepbound autoinjector or single-dose pen, and Ozempic.

🔻 Here's the part Ro won't put at the top of an ad

Ro's cash-pay route does not send the medicine to your Sam's Club. Ro says cash-pay medication ships to your door. Local pharmacy pickup is the insurance route.

That means the insurance lane does not currently cover the Wegovy pill, the Zepbound KwikPen, or Foundayo through Ro. Those happen to include some of the lowest advertised cash-pay forms at Sam's Club.

So if you are paying cash and the Sam's Club counter is the goal, Ro is the wrong tool for that job. Use an existing prescriber, WeightWatchers Med+, Curai after routing is confirmed, Sesame, PlushCare, or a provider that will send the exact form to a local pharmacy.

Now here's why Ro is still the right answer for the other reader. Most of this page is about shaving dollars off a cash price. Insurance approval can change the whole category of price. If your plan may cover Wegovy, the Zepbound single-dose pen, or Ozempic, a team that handles the coverage check and paperwork may be worth more than a cheaper visit that leaves you to fight alone.

Sesame: best when you want to pick your clinician or use its Medicare lane

Sesame is the better fit when you want to choose the clinician instead of being assigned one, want a local-pharmacy option, or want a telehealth program with a Medicare GLP-1 Bridge path. Sesame says a prescribed medicine can go to the pharmacy of your choice for pickup or delivery. Care is $99 month to month, $79 a month on a three-month commitment, $69 a month on a six-month commitment, or $59 a month on an annual commitment. Medication is separate.

Two things make Sesame different from the other paid routes on this list.

You pick the person. Sesame shows participating clinicians and lets you choose. If being handed a random provider from a queue bothers you — and for a medicine you may take for a long time, that is a fair thing to care about — this is the route built around that choice.

It has a Medicare lane. Sesame has a dedicated page for the Medicare GLP-1 Bridge. It says the provider checks the Medicare path, handles the prior authorization, and sends an approved prescription to the pharmacy you choose. The pharmacy claim still has to satisfy CMS's rules, and the $50 is the medication copay, not the Sesame membership fee.

Sesame also lists Foundayo, Wegovy, and Zepbound among its brand options. It advertises same-day prescriptions and local pickup, but the clinician still has to approve treatment and your pharmacy still has to have the exact product.

The honest note on price: the $59 figure needs a 12-month commitment. The six-month math is $69 a month, the three-month math is $79, and the flexible month-to-month plan is $99. Compare the number you would actually agree to pay, not the smallest number in the headline.

Three more GLP-1 routes worth knowing about

WeightWatchers Med+, PlushCare, and GoodRx Care Direct each solve a narrower problem. None is a paid partner of ours. WeightWatchers now has the clearest public Sam's Club pickup statement of any telehealth provider on this page. PlushCare is the ongoing primary-care route. GoodRx has the lowest published month-to-month care fee, but its public page says “delivery or pickup options” rather than naming Sam's Club.

WeightWatchers Med+ — the clearest Sam's Club pickup route

WeightWatchers' Sam's Club offer page does not make you infer the pharmacy. It says members can get medication access through Med+ plus “convenient pharmacy pick-up from Sam's Club Pharmacy.”

For Sam's Club members who are new to WW Med+, the current offer is $149 for three months paid upfront. It automatically renews for another three-month term at $149 unless canceled. Medication is not included. A clinician still decides whether a prescription is appropriate.

This changes the route ranking. Curai sits in Sam's Club's own Telehealth menu, but its public page does not show the exact club-routing step. WeightWatchers publishes the pickup promise in plain text.

Med+ is WW's clinical tier. It combines clinical care with the food, activity, and coaching system. If you want only a prescription moved, that extra structure may be more than you need. If you will actually use the tracking and support, the Sam's member rate is easy to understand: about $49.67 a month for care, paid three months at a time, plus medicine.

Two honest notes. First, the offer is for eligible new Med+ members with a valid Sam's Club membership. Second, WW publishes outcomes and member comparisons in its marketing, but those are not needed to answer whether the prescription can reach Sam's Club, so we are not using them to sell this route.

Who it fits: you are already a Sam's Club member, want coaching with clinical care, and want the strongest public Sam's-specific pickup language.

Who should skip it: you do not want an auto-renewing three-month plan, do not want coaching, or already have a clinician who can send the prescription.

PlushCare — if you want an ongoing doctor

PlushCare is virtual primary care rather than a GLP-1-only funnel. Its doctors can prescribe when clinically appropriate and route prescriptions to a pharmacy. The current membership is $19.99 a month after a free first month. An uninsured initial visit is $129. Medication and lab work are separate.

Who it fits: you want a broader doctor relationship, have health questions beyond weight, or would rather keep care in a primary-care setting.

The honest catch: membership, visit, labs, and medication can be separate charges. Add the whole first-month and ongoing cost before calling it cheaper.

GoodRx Care Direct — the lowest published ongoing care fee

GoodRx Care Direct publishes $39 a month for ongoing online weight-loss care, with medication separate. Its current page offers FDA-approved products and displays delivery or pickup options. It does not publicly promise Sam's Club by name, so confirm the exact pharmacy and exact form inside the flow before paying.

One thing to keep straight: GoodRx Care Direct is the telehealth subscription. A GoodRx coupon is a pharmacy discount. Paying $39 for the care program does not guarantee that a GoodRx coupon will beat a manufacturer offer at Sam's Club.

GoodRx also states that its weight-loss treatment is not currently available in Alabama or Louisiana.

Who it fits: you want the lowest published month-to-month care fee here and the supported fulfillment choice includes your club.

The honest catch: the public page does not name Sam's Club, and the care fee is only one part of the total.

How do you get a GLP-1 prescription sent to Sam's Club?

Confirm the club has a pharmacy, check network status and stock, give the prescriber the exact club and exact drug form, then call the pharmacy to confirm the prescription and price before you drive over. The call after “sent” is the step most likely to save a wasted trip.

If you are getting a new prescription

1. Find a Sam's Club that actually has a pharmacy. Sam's Club lists 566 pharmacy locations, not one at every club. Use the club finder and look for Pharmacy under services. Write down the club number, street address, and direct pharmacy phone number.

2. Call the pharmacy before you pay a provider. Ask whether it accepts e-prescriptions from out-of-state telehealth clinicians licensed to treat you, whether the exact drug and form is stocked or orderable, and what information the prescriber should use.

3. Check your insurance network. The pharmacist may be able to test a claim once a prescription exists, but your plan is the source of truth on network rules. Call the member-services number and name the exact club.

4. Pick the route that solves your actual problem.

• Existing clinician who will manage it → start there.
• Clearest public Sam's-specific pickup path → WeightWatchers Med+.
• Sam's-linked telehealth path → Curai, after it confirms the exact club and price.
• Commercial-insurance paperwork → Ro.
• Pick-your-clinician or Sesame Medicare lane → Sesame.
• Broader primary care → PlushCare.
• Lowest published month-to-month care fee → GoodRx, after routing is confirmed.

5. Complete the medical review. A licensed clinician decides whether the drug is appropriate, which product and dose make sense, whether labs or records are needed, and how follow-up will work. No legitimate service can promise the prescription before that review.

6. Enter the exact Sam's Club at the pharmacy step. Use the club number and full address. “The Sam's Club near me” is not enough when several clubs share a metro area.

7. Name the exact product. “Zepbound KwikPen 10 mg” is not the same pharmacy item as a Zepbound single-dose pen or vial. “Wegovy tablets 4 mg” is not the same item as a Wegovy injection pen.

8. Confirm the pharmacy received it. Do not drive over because an app says “sent.” Call the pharmacy. Confirm your name, date of birth, drug, form, dose, and the club.

9. Ask for the price before checkout. Ask which claim lane produced the number: insurance, manufacturer card, self-pay offer, Bridge, GoodRx, or Sam's Plus. A price without a lane name is hard to troubleshoot.

If you already have a prescription

Sometimes the fastest route is not another telehealth membership. It is a transfer.

Transfer instead if: you have refills left, your current prescriber is still managing your care, the prescription is legally transferable, and the only change you need is the pharmacy. Paying a new care fee for a solved prescribing problem makes no sense.

Sam's Club has an online transfer flow for existing pharmacy patients, and you can also call the destination pharmacy. Have these ready:

• Your full name and date of birth
• The current pharmacy's name and phone number
• The prescription number
• The exact drug, form, and dose
• Your insurance or payment information
• The destination Sam's Club number and address

Timing varies. A clean transfer may move quickly. It can slow down when there are no refills left, the old pharmacy does not respond, the drug is out of stock, a new prior authorization is needed, an insurance “refill too soon” block appears, or the prescription must legally be rewritten rather than transferred.

Confirm stock before you move it. Once the transfer starts, the old pharmacy may no longer be the easy fallback. Ask the destination club to confirm that the exact National Drug Code or product form is available or orderable.

Your call script for the Sam's Club pharmacy

“Hi — I may have an FDA-approved GLP-1 prescription sent here from a telehealth clinician. Before I pay for the visit, can I check a few details?”

Then ask:

1. Do you accept electronic prescriptions from a telehealth clinician licensed in my state?
2. Do you have [exact drug, form, and dose] in stock, or can you order it?
3. What club number, address, phone, and pharmacy details should the prescriber use?
4. Can you tell me whether this club can process my insurance plan once the prescription arrives?
5. Can you process [exact manufacturer card or program name] for this form?
6. What should I expect if I transfer an existing prescription here?
7. Is this refrigerated prescription eligible for delivery after it is ready?
8. How do I enroll in the pharmacy text program?

Write down the date, time, and first name of the person who answered. That is not about blaming anyone. It gives you a clean record when a price, stock answer, or routing detail changes.

One thing not to ask: do not ask the pharmacist to choose the drug or dose for you. The pharmacist can explain use, storage, interactions, claim processing, and safety questions. The prescriber makes the treatment decision.

Can Sam's Club deliver a GLP-1 to your door?

Yes. Sam's Club offers same-day delivery for eligible refrigerated prescriptions, including GLP-1s. It is free for Plus members when requested before the cutoff and $12 for Club members and non-members. The catch is operational: you have to enroll in the pharmacy's text-message program, wait until the prescription is ready, and use the link in the “Order Ready” text. Refrigerated deliveries always require an adult signature.

🔍 The texting gate

This is the detail that can ruin a first delivery plan.

You cannot use Same Day Rx Delivery until you are enrolled in that pharmacy's text-message program. Sam's Club's current sequence is:

1. Ask a pharmacy associate to enroll you in pharmacy texts.
2. Wait until the prescription is filled and ready.
3. Receive an Order Ready text with a secure link.
4. Use that link to choose delivery or Express in-club pickup.
5. Choose the available time window and delivery address.
6. Have an adult available to sign, because a refrigerated prescription cannot be left at the door.

You do not need a samsclub.com account to schedule the delivery or Express pickup. A pharmacy associate can also help schedule the delivery, but text enrollment is still required.

The cutoff is not always 2 p.m.

For same-day prescription delivery, Sam's current FAQ lists:

• Monday through Friday: request by 2 p.m.
• Saturday outside California: request by noon.
• Saturday in California: request by 9 a.m.
• Delivery range and available windows vary by location.

The prescription has to be ready before delivery can be scheduled. A refill reminder is not enough.

What delivery will not carry

Sam's Club's current terms exclude:

• Controlled substances
• Pseudoephedrine prescriptions
• Compound prescriptions
• Prescriptions paid by Medicare Part B

The Medicare GLP-1 Bridge is not Medicare Part B, but the pharmacy still has to confirm that the exact Bridge prescription is delivery-eligible.

Pickup versus delivery, honestly

For a first fill, in-person pickup still has a real advantage. You can check the box, verify the device and dose, ask how to store it, and deal with a claim problem while the pharmacist is standing there.

Medicare and the $50 GLP-1 Bridge at Sam's Club

Eligible Medicare Part D beneficiaries can get an eligible FDA-approved GLP-1 for weight management through the Medicare GLP-1 Bridge for a flat $50 copay per 28- or 30-day fill. The Bridge began July 1, 2026 and runs through December 31, 2027. Sam's Club has a Bridge help page and can send the claim to CMS's central processor. For Zepbound, the prescription must be for the KwikPen.

This is not automatic coverage for every person with Medicare. The plan type, reason for treatment, clinical criteria, product form, and prior authorization all have to line up.

Who can qualify

The Bridge is for eligible Medicare Part D beneficiaries using one of the covered drugs to reduce excess body weight and maintain weight reduction, together with ongoing nutrition and physical-activity changes consistent with the FDA-approved label.

The prescriber must attest that, at the time GLP-1 treatment began, the adult met at least one of these paths:

• BMI of 35 or higher, or
• BMI of 30 or higher plus heart failure with preserved ejection fraction, uncontrolled hypertension despite two blood-pressure medicines, or chronic kidney disease stage 3a or above, or
• BMI of 27 or higher plus prediabetes, a prior heart attack, a prior stroke, or symptomatic peripheral artery disease.

CMS uses the BMI and conditions at the time treatment started. A person who started at a BMI of 37 and later dropped below 35 may still be evaluated from the starting point.

The Bridge is for the weight-management indication. CMS says prescriptions for type 2 diabetes, moderate-to-severe obstructive sleep apnea, or noncirrhotic MASH with F2–F3 fibrosis should go through the Part D benefit when that indication is covered there.

Which drugs and forms are covered

Pen needles for the Zepbound KwikPen are not covered by the Bridge. They have to be bought separately.

The process is different from normal Part D

CMS uses a single central processor for the Bridge. Part D sponsors do not have to opt in. Pharmacies also do not have to file a separate opt-in form.

That does not mean every counter will be equally ready on day one. It means a pharmacist should not reject the idea merely because the patient's Part D plan did not “join” the Bridge.

The clean process is:

1. The prescriber sends the eligible prescription to the pharmacy.
2. The pharmacy submits the claim to the Bridge's central processor.
3. If prior authorization is required, the pharmacy sends that request to the prescriber, usually within 24 to 72 hours.
4. The prescriber submits the clinical information.
5. CMS says the patient and prescriber receive a decision within 72 hours after submission.
6. If approved, the pharmacy reruns the claim and collects $50.

A normal Part D denial is not required first. The prescriber can direct the pharmacist to send the claim straight to the Bridge.

There is no formal Bridge appeal process. If information was wrong, missing, or later updated, the prescriber can submit a corrected request again.

What the $50 does and does not do

• It is the copay for one eligible 28- or 30-day fill.
• Sixty- and 90-day fills are not available.
• It runs outside the normal Part D payment flow.
• It does not apply to the Part D deductible.
• It does not count toward true out-of-pocket costs.
• Coupons and discount programs cannot reduce it.
• After approval, a new prior authorization is generally not needed for refills through December 31, 2027 unless the patient changes to a different covered GLP-1.

Bring the Medicare card or Medicare number. The pharmacy needs the Medicare Beneficiary Identifier to send the claim.

What to say at Sam's Club

“This prescription is for weight management through the Medicare GLP-1 Bridge. Please send the claim to the Bridge central processor. The product is [Foundayo dose / Wegovy exact form and dose / Zepbound KwikPen dose]. A Part D denial is not required first.”

If the pharmacy is unsure, ask it to check CMS's Medicare GLP-1 Bridge pharmacy payer sheet or call the CMS pharmacy help desk listed on the pharmacy guidance page.

What Sam's Club cannot fill — and where those readers should go

Sam's Club has no published pickup route for a compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide prescription, and Lilly does not offer Sam's Club pickup for Zepbound single-dose vials. If either one is the product you want, do not pay a provider on the assumption that the Sam's Club counter will handle it.

We'd rather lose you here than waste your money.

Compounded GLP-1s

We found no Sam's Club page that offers compounded GLP-1 dispensing. Two current Sam's documents point in the same direction, but neither one alone proves that every counter would reject every compounded prescription:

1. Sam's prescription-delivery terms exclude compound prescriptions from delivery.
2. Sam's Plus pharmacy terms say the Plus price is not available when a drug is part of a compounded prescription.

That supports a careful conclusion: there is no published Sam's Club route we can tell you to use. It does not support inventing a universal “impossible” rule that Sam's Club itself has not published.

Compounded medications are not FDA-approved. FDA does not review them before marketing for safety, effectiveness, or quality. They can have a legitimate role when a patient's medical need cannot be met by an available FDA-approved product and compounding is done under the applicable law, but they are not generic versions that went through FDA approval.

That distinction has to stay clear. Wegovy, Foundayo, and Zepbound are FDA-approved products. A compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide product is not the same approved product.

If a compounded program is what you are comparing, use our compounded semaglutide provider comparison or compounded tirzepatide provider comparison. Do not pick one because you think Sam's Club will fill it.

Zepbound single-dose vials

Lilly says Zepbound vials are available exclusively through LillyDirect, with home delivery or pickup through Walmart Pharmacy. Sam's Club is not named as a pickup partner.

Also consider leaving the Sam's route if…

• Sam's Club is out of network and your plan covers the drug elsewhere.
• Your nearest club has no pharmacy.
• Your club cannot get the exact form or dose.
• You already have working refills at a pharmacy with stock and the price difference is small.
• You need late-night or Sunday access that your local club does not offer.
• Your provider's only fulfillment route is direct shipping and it will not release the prescription to a local pharmacy.

A good comparison tells you where to go. A trustworthy one also tells you when to leave.

Sam's Club vs. Costco vs. Walmart for GLP-1s

All three can be good places to fill an FDA-approved GLP-1. The manufacturer often sets the headline offer, so the biggest differences are your insurance network, local stock, the exact drug form, the pickup or delivery path, and whether a store-specific discount requires membership. Walmart has one decisive advantage: it is LillyDirect's retail pickup partner for Zepbound single-dose vials.

The honest bottom line: do not choose a pharmacy from one advertised number. Pick the location that is in your insurance network, has your exact product in stock, and can process the payment lane you qualify for. Distance comes after those three.

Sam's Club's strongest advantages are no membership requirement, a retailer-linked care path, and same-day cold-chain delivery. Costco publishes a clear cash program for Wegovy tablets and injections, but that Costco discount program requires membership and cannot be combined with insurance. Walmart's one clear product advantage is the LillyDirect rail. If you need Zepbound vials, that is decisive.

Original comparison rule: the pharmacy with the lowest public cash price is not automatically the pharmacy with the lowest price for you. A covered $25 claim at a preferred pharmacy beats a $349 cash offer at an out-of-network warehouse club.

What goes wrong, and how do you fix it?

Six things break this process: your club has no pharmacy, the prescription names the wrong product or form, the register price does not match the price lane you expected, the wrong savings program is being processed, the prescription went to another club, or nobody is home to sign for a refrigerated delivery. Five of the six are preventable before the prescription is sent.

1. Your club does not have a pharmacy

Not every Sam's Club has one.

Fix: check the club finder first. Look for Pharmacy in the services list. Save the club number, street address, direct phone number, and current pharmacy hours.

2. The prescription names the wrong form

"Zepbound" is not enough when the form changes the price and the pickup route. A Zepbound vial is a dead end for Sam's Club pickup. A vague "pen" can also create confusion between the KwikPen and the single-dose pen.

Fix: use the copy-and-paste sentence in the prescription section. Ask the prescriber to name the brand, form, strength, dose instructions, and exact club. Do not count on the pharmacy being able to convert one product into another without a new prescription.

3. The register price is higher than you expected

Usually one of four things happened: the pharmacy did not have the offer information, the offer did not apply to your exact product, the eligibility rules were not met, or you were looking at a conditional "as low as" price as if it were guaranteed.

Fix: before paying, ask which claim or card produced the number. Have the pharmacy price each valid route separately. If a card rejects, read the rejection rather than assuming the offer does not exist.

4. Insurance and the savings card are being processed through the wrong lane

There is no one rule for every card.

• A commercial-insurance copay card may be processed after eligible commercial insurance.
• A self-pay offer is processed outside insurance.
• A GoodRx or Sam's discount price is normally a separate cash-discount lane.
• The Medicare Bridge cannot be stacked with a manufacturer coupon.

Fix: name the exact program. Ask whether it is supposed to be primary, secondary to commercial insurance, or outside insurance. For Lilly offers, keep the receipt because Lilly's terms provide a reimbursement path when eligible savings cannot be applied at the register.

5. The prescription went to the wrong Sam's Club

Three clubs in one metro, one wrong click.

Fix: give the prescriber the club number and full street address — not just "Sam's Club." Then call the pharmacy and confirm receipt before you drive.

6. Nobody is home for a refrigerated delivery

Sam's Club lets many nonrefrigerated orders use Leave at Door. Refrigerated or reconstituted medication is different: an adult signature is required.

Fix: choose a delivery window when an adult can answer, or pick the prescription up. Do not plan around an unattended cold-chain drop.

And two drawbacks we would want to know about

Local pharmacy hours. Pharmacy hours are not the same as the warehouse hours, and they vary by club. A location can also close for a pharmacist meal break. Check the specific pharmacy page instead of assuming you can fill at night or on Sunday.

The Plus fine print varies by state. The free-generic part of the Plus pharmacy benefit is not available in Arizona, California, or Minnesota; qualifying drugs are $2 there instead. That does not change GLP-1 pricing, but it is a reminder that Plus pharmacy benefits have product, state, location, and payment restrictions.

What do provider-published testimonials actually prove?

Very little for this decision. Curai and PlushCare publish selected service testimonials, but a provider-chosen quote cannot prove that your club has stock, your insurance will pay, the card will process, or a medication will work for you. We checked the pages, but we did not use or quote patient testimonials to rank any route.

That matters because the site's published Editorial Standards say we do not use testimonials as persuasion. The decision evidence on this page is the provider's routing policy, the care price, the pharmacy rule, the manufacturer term, and the current government guidance.

Sam's Club also published an on-record statement from Taylor Kravatz, PharmD, its 2024 Pharmacist of the Year, about the value of patient support. That is useful context for why the free pharmacist conversation exists. It is not evidence of a medical result, pharmacy stock, insurance coverage, or a guaranteed fill.

The useful rule: use testimonials to understand what a service may feel like. Use primary documents to decide what it costs and whether it can do the job.

We do not present a conditional "as low as" number as a guaranteed price. We do not call a compounded product FDA-approved. How we handle provider claims

A provider saying "pharmacy of your choice" is evidence of that provider's stated policy. It is not proof that every Sam's Club appears in every signup flow, that your club is in network, or that local stock exists. That is why the route table labels the specific Sam's Club link separately from the general pharmacy-choice routes.

How we handle price conflicts

The flagship example is the high-dose Zepbound KwikPen:

• Sam's Club publishes $499 at 7.5 mg and $699 at 10–15 mg.
• Lilly publishes $449 for qualifying high-dose fills under its current card terms.
• Lilly's lower amount has eligibility, timing, fill-limit, and expiration rules.

Neither number should be erased. One is the retailer-published regular ladder. The other is a conditional manufacturer offer. Showing both is more useful than picking the prettier one.

No. Sam's Club says you do not have to be a member to buy prescription medications, and there is no non-member fee for a prescription. You also do not need a samsclub.com account to schedule eligible prescription delivery or Express in-club pickup. Membership changes benefits such as free qualifying delivery for Plus members and Plus pharmacy pricing.

Which online providers will send a GLP-1 prescription to Sam's Club?

WeightWatchers Med+ has the clearest public Sam's Club pickup statement. Sam's Club also links Curai Health in its own Telehealth menu, though the exact club-routing step is not public. Ro's insured route, Sesame, PlushCare, and GoodRx for Weight Loss publish a pharmacy-choice or retail-pickup policy; confirm your exact club before paying. A clinician you already see can also e-prescribe there.

Can Sam's Club fill Zepbound?

Yes. Sam's Club publishes the Zepbound KwikPen. It can also process a valid prescription for the single-dose pen when the product is stocked and the payment claim works, but the published savings-card lanes for that pen require eligible commercial insurance. Sam's Club has no published pickup route for Zepbound single-dose vials; LillyDirect's named retail pickup partner is Walmart Pharmacy.

How much is Wegovy at Sam's Club?

Under Novo Nordisk's current U.S. self-pay offers, the Wegovy injection is $349 per 28-day box at 0.25–2.4 mg after any qualifying starter discount, and Wegovy HD 7.2 mg is $399. Wegovy tablets are $149 at 1.5 mg, $149 at 4 mg through August 31, 2026 and then $199, and $299 at 9 or 25 mg. New eligible users can get the first two 0.25 or 0.5 mg injection fills for $199 each through December 31, 2026. Eligible commercial-insurance users may pay as little as $25, subject to the offer terms and maximum savings.

Does Sam's Club take manufacturer coupons for GLP-1s?

Sam's Club promotes manufacturer-offer pricing for the products on its GLP-1 page. The stacking rule depends on the offer. An eligible commercial-insurance copay card may run after insurance. A self-pay offer runs outside insurance. A GoodRx or Sam's discount price is generally a separate lane. Ask the pharmacist to name the claim that produced the price.

What is the difference between the Zepbound KwikPen and the single-dose pen?

The KwikPen is one multi-dose device that contains four weekly doses. The single-dose pen comes as four separate one-use pens. They use different prescription descriptions and different savings programs. The current self-pay KwikPen offer runs from $299 to a conditional $449. The current single-dose-pen savings card is for eligible commercially insured patients. The Medicare Bridge covers the KwikPen, not the single-dose pen.

Can Sam's Club fill compounded semaglutide?

Sam's Club does not publish a compounded GLP-1 pickup program. Its delivery rules exclude compounded prescriptions, and its Plus discount terms exclude compounds. Those documents do not prove that every counter would reject every legally valid compounded prescription, so the accurate answer is no published route — call the exact pharmacy before paying a prescriber or compounder. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved and do not go through FDA premarket review for safety, effectiveness, or quality.

Can Sam's Club deliver a GLP-1?

Yes. Sam's Club offers same-day delivery for eligible refrigerated prescriptions, including GLP-1s. You must first enroll in that pharmacy's text program. After the prescription is ready, the Order Ready text contains the scheduling link. Delivery is free for eligible Plus-member orders placed by the cutoff and $12 for Club members and non-members. Refrigerated or reconstituted prescriptions require an adult signature.

How do I transfer a GLP-1 prescription to Sam's Club?

Use Sam's Club's guest transfer flow or call the pharmacy with your current pharmacy's name, phone number, and prescription information. A transfer is not guaranteed: no refills, stock problems, state rules, insurance timing, or a product-form change can require a new prescription. Confirm stock before starting the transfer and ask the club for its current timing.

Is Sam's Club in my insurance network?

Not always. Call the member-services number on your insurance card or use the plan's pharmacy directory. Ask about the exact Sam's Club location. A low advertised cash price can still cost more than a covered copay at an in-network pharmacy.

Can Medicare members use Sam's Club for a GLP-1?

Yes, when the patient meets the Medicare GLP-1 Bridge rules and the pharmacy can process the central claim. The Bridge runs from July 1, 2026 through December 31, 2027 and charges $50 for a 28- or 30-day fill. It covers specified forms of Wegovy, Foundayo, and the Zepbound KwikPen for weight management. The claim runs outside Part D and does not count toward the Part D deductible or true out-of-pocket total.

Does Sam's Club prescribe GLP-1s itself?

Sam's Club Pharmacy dispenses prescriptions; its pharmacists do not replace the clinician who decides whether to prescribe. Sam's Club links Curai Health in its Telehealth menu and has a WeightWatchers offer with Sam's Club pharmacy pickup, so the site can connect you to outside care. The prescription still comes from a licensed prescriber.

Does Sam's Club have Foundayo?

Sam's Club's current GLP-1 page promotes Foundayo, and Foundayo was FDA-approved in April 2026. That does not prove every club has every dose in stock. Call the exact pharmacy with the strength before paying for a visit.

Is Sam's Club cheaper than Costco for GLP-1s?

There is no single winner. Many manufacturer offers can be processed at eligible retail pharmacies, while Costco also publishes its own member cash program. Your final price depends on the product, offer eligibility, membership rules, insurance network, and local stock. Compare the live claims — not just the public headline.

How long does it take to get a GLP-1 filled at Sam's Club?

There is no reliable nationwide fill-time promise. An in-stock electronic prescription may move quickly, while a transfer, an order for stock, or a coverage review can add time. Under the Medicare Bridge, CMS says the clinical decision is generally made within 72 hours after the pharmacy submits a complete request. Ro says its broader insurance process can take about two to three weeks. Call the pharmacy before driving.

What if my Sam's Club is out of stock?

Ask whether it can order the exact product and when it expects delivery. Then call nearby clubs. Do not transfer until a pharmacy confirms the product is available or orderable. Do not change your dose or product form to match the shelf; that decision belongs with your prescriber.

Can a telehealth provider guarantee I will get a prescription?

No. A licensed clinician has to decide that the medication is appropriate. A provider can promise a visit, a coverage check, paperwork help, or a routing policy. It cannot honestly promise a prescription or local stock before the medical review and pharmacy check.

Can Sam's Club fill Ozempic for weight loss?

Sam's Club can fill a valid Ozempic prescription when it has stock and can process the claim. Ozempic is FDA-approved for adults with type 2 diabetes and certain cardiovascular or kidney-risk indications, not as a weight-management drug. A clinician may prescribe an approved drug off-label when medically appropriate, but insurance coverage and manufacturer-offer eligibility may differ. Wegovy is semaglutide's FDA-approved weight-management brand.
